Lucid Moon is a concept created within the twisted mind of the singer and songwriter Steffan. After a period of creating havoc with his former Norwegian rock band "Sorte Får" he decieded to aim for something bigger & better.



To make his vision come true he started to search for musicians that could fit into his new concept and started up by contacting his former partner in crime Kenneth (Guitar) that he had played with for a short period a couple of years ago. This guy had the attitude that Steffan was looking for just as much as the abillity to create the "shreeking" guitarsound that this band needed from Steffan`s point of view. Still short of a drummer and bassplayer he gave Kenneth the task of finding suitable musicians.



In stead of looking into the standard rock scene he chosed to try out a couple of old friends that were a lot more then Your average "rocker"! The bassplayer Gard fitted into the band easily together with the drummer John. These two guys had played together for ages and gave "Lucid Moon" a quite different sound than the singer expected..... but in the right direction.

They had both a background from several different genres like pop, ethnic, progressive, heavy metal etc. in the same way as their soon to be axeman Kenneth, so when they pounded out their first chords together in a local studio early in January, everything made complete sense!

These guys came together for the first time in december 2004..... and they allready sounds like a professional act!! Check`em out during 2005 if You ever get the chance..... You won`t get disappointed!

It`s hard rock with influences from anything with an attitude... they are a bundle of adrenaline pumped into the machine called...... "Lucid Moon"!

Concerts and the shit:

Galleriet - Drammen 23/02/2005



This gig were supposed to be played at "riggen" but due to some difficulties "Lucid Moon" ended up playing at "Galleriet" thanks to the nice crew that works there.



This was "Lucid`s" first gig and they did`nt know what to expect at all regarding stageprecense & how the song would work out live. Luckily everything turned out well and the few people that showed ut seemed to have a great time during the hour they played.

Due to sickness "Lucid" played their whole set without a soundman and since Steffan uses his voice both deep & high the sound ended up being a bit disappointing, but hopefully this will be taken care of the next time around.

The band had a very professional approach even though they`ve only played together for about a month. So this is promesing for the future.
